Social Skills Mastery

Dec 9, 2020

“If you’re waiting for in-person networking to make a comeback, you’ll be behind.” That advice as well as other golden nuggets, like “Everything good happens after the meeting.” are liberally served by today’s guest, Andrew Winig, Your Elevator Pitch Coach.

If you’re working from home — you need a pitch.

If you’re going to the office — you need a pitch.

If you’re looking for a job — you need a pitch.

If you want that client — you need a pitch.

If you’re making small talk — you need a pitch.

And no, it’s not necessary to be on an elevator to clearly and succinctly state what it is that you do in a friendly and compelling way.

Andrew and I talk about the components of your pitch, the importance of working the breakout room on Zoom, and why it’s time to say “Buh-Bye” to those long, boring introductions by everyone in the (virtual) room.

Andrew is a networking powerhouse and after today’s episode, you will take back control of your precious time in the networking room and be better equipped to discern whom to follow up with and when, and increase your circle of business “friends”.

This is a valuable episode, and I hope you enjoy it.
